This was my second visit to the Dart Stables, and despite the lovely new office, I was relieved to find the loo shack still standing! I took two rides that day - the River Wild in the morning and the Rings ride in the afternoon. My morning ride was with the love of my life - Sully! Having ridden him 2 years previously I was keen to be reunited....though not as keen as Sully who proved a bugger to catch that morning! The ride was great fun despite the rivers being too high to cross. In the afternoon, it was up to lovely Paradise for a ride with a small group, on Joey - a cheeky chappie who, after some encouraging, realised what a bit was for! This area was so beautiful - it was a real highlight of my trip. I will be back in NZ next April - if Sully is still in work, could someone please start trying to get him in!!
